You don't need anything special to VideoChat - no special hardware, no special software, NOTHING! You don't even need a webcam!!! Just sign up to 1001cafe for FREE and you're ready to go! If you have a webcam on your computer, you can have two-way VideoChat with an Expert. You can see them, hear them, and talk to them over the Internet, with no hidden costs! Even if you don't have a webcam or a microphone, you can VideoChat and type text messages while you watch and listen to your Expert. Just select the VideoChat category you wish to enter, purchase 1001cafe VidoeChat credit, select your Expert, and start chatting!
All Live VideoChat sessions begin in free mode. Only after the user clicks the `Start Private Session` button does the paid session begin. Take advantage of the time before clicking the `Start` button to get to know a little bit more about your expert and the services they offer - it`s completely free.
Each Expert charges a different price per minute to VideoChat, starting from $0.50 up to $10. You may purchase any of 1001cafe Credits via your Control Panel. You only pay for the minutes of Live VideoChat between the time you clicked "Start Private Session" and the time either you or the expert clicked the "Exit Private Session" button. The length of the paid session is indicated by a timer that is located at the top of the communication player.
